Son and Father
A heart touching conversation between a son and his father
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5 year old son waiting for him at the door.’
“Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
“Yeah, sure, what is it?” replied the man.
“Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?”
“That’s none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?” the man said angrily.

محادثة تمس القلب بين أب وابنه
عاد الأب إلى بيته متأخراً من عمله كالعادة وقد أصابه الإرهاق والتعب، وجد ابنه الصغير ينتظره عند الباب
الإبن :هل لي أن أطرح عليك سؤالاً ياأبي؟
الأب :طبعاً،تفضل
الإبن :كم تكسب من المال في الساعة يا أبي؟
الأب غاضباً:هذا ليس من شأنك، ما الذي يجعلك تسأل مثل هذه الأسئلة السخيفة؟
“I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?” pleaded the little boy.
“If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour.”
“Oh, ” the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said, “Daddy, may I borrow $10.00 please?”
The father was furious. “If the only reason you want to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you’re being so selfish. I work long, hard hours everyday and don’t have time for such childish games.”
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
الإبن :فقط أريد أن أعرف أرجوك يا أبي أخبرني كم تكسب من المال في الساعة؟
الأب:إذا كنت مصراً 20 دولارا في الساعة
الإبن : بعد قليل من التفكير : هلا أقرضتني 10 دولار من فضلك يا أبي
الأب ثائراً:إذن كنت تريد أن تعرف كم أكسب من المال لكي أعطيك 10 دولارات تنفقها على الدمى السخيفة وما شابه،فلتذهب إلى غرفتك ونم فأنا أعمل طوال اليوم وأقضي أوقات عصيبة في عملي وليس لدي وقت لتفاهات كهذه
لم ينطق الولد بأي كلمة، وذهب إلى غرفته بهدوء لكي يخلد إلى النوم
The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy’s questioning. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money. After an hour or so , the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. May be there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00 and he really didn’t ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door. “Are you asleep son?” he asked.
“No daddy, I’m awake,” replied the boy.
“I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier,” said the man. “It’s been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here’s that $10.00 you asked for.”
The little boy sat straight up, beaming. “Oh, thank you daddy!” he yelled
بعد حوالي ساعة أخذ الأب يفكر قليلاً فيما حدث وشعر بأنه كان قاسياً مع طفله، فربما كان الصبي بحاجة لان يشتري شيئا للدولارات العشرة…فهو لا يطلب المال كثيراا
ذهب الأب مباشرة إلى غرفة ابنه، وفتح الباب.
ثم قال:هل أنت نائم؟
فرد الإبن:لا يا أبي مازلت مستيقظاً
قال له الأب: كنت قاسياً معك، كان اليوم طويلاً وشاقاً . تفضل هذه العشرة دولارات التي طلبتها
فرح الإبن فرحاً شديداً. وصاح:شكرا لك يا ابي

“Why did you want more money if you already had some?” the father grumbled.
“Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,” the little boy replied. “Daddy, I have $20.00 now… Can I buy an hour of your time?”
ثم مد يده تحت الوساده واخرج ورقه مالية مجعده..وبدأ الاب يغضب ثانية حين اكتشف ان الصبي يملك المال بالفعل…بدأ الغلام بعد نقوده ونظر إلى الاب.
زمجرالأب وسأله :لماذا طلبت مالاً ما دمت تملك المال
رد الابن ببراءة :لم يكن لدي مايكفي
أما الآن أصبح لدي 20 دولارا. أريد أن أشتري ساعة من وقتك نقضيها سوياً
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Every one of your (people) is a shepherd. And every one is responsible for whatever falls under his responsibility. A man is like a shepherd of his own family, and he is responsible for them.”

قال الرسول عليه أفضل الصلاة والسلام (كلكم راع وكلكم مسئول عن رعيته، فالإمام راع ومسئول عن رعيته، والرجل راع في أهل بيته ومسئول عن رعتيه، والمرأة راعية في بيت زوجها ومسئولة عن رعيتها، والخادم راع في مال سيده ومسئول عن رعيته، وكلكم راع ومسئول عن رعيته).
